This isn’t a place of excess — it’s a place of essence. You don’t need much. Just bring:

Your walking boots – For some of the finest trails and hidden woodland paths in Wales. There are routes from your doorstep and adventures in every direction.

Your telescope and your thermals – You’re in a designated dark sky zone, and on a clear night, the stars are dazzling.

Your favourite book – Or borrow one of ours. We’ve stocked the hut with thoughtful reads, maps, and guides to the area.

Your appetite – Local food and produce are within walking distance. From artisan cheeses to fresh bread and seasonal treats, you’ll eat well here. If you’d like some recommendations, we are more than happy to help.

Your sense of adventure – Waterfalls, mountains, and ancient forests await in the Brecon Beacons National Park.

Your car – But once you’re parked, you may not need it again. We’re just 15 minutes’ walk from Llandovery and even closer to beautiful footpaths.

The Essentials - What You Need to Know
We’ve made everything as smooth and welcoming as possible. Here are the essentials:

Getting here: Accessible via motorbikes and cars (only space for 1 car); a short walk from the parking spot to the hut

Check-in: Between 3:00 PM and 7:00 PM

Check-out: Before 11:00 AM

On arrival: You’ll be warmly greeted by your hosts

Early or late check-in: May be available upon request

Cancellation policy: Please give us at least 48 hours if you need to cancel.

Minimum stay: 1 night

Bookings: Accepted up to 12 months in advance

Parking: Max 1 vehicle, or 2 motorbikes

Accessibility: Sadly, due to our location and setup, the hut is not wheelchair accessible.
How Much Does it Cost?
We offer a very simple stay for hikers, walkers, bikers, couples and friends to stay in their own eco-friendly space in the woods.
With this in mind, we want it to be available for all to enjoy. We want to ensure the most comfortable stay, while making sure those who are on a budget can still enjoy their own time away from it all, among the trees.
We offer a one-night stay from £80 per night.
