A private ceremony on the land, designed with you and for you, as well as time to stay together in the beautiful Charcoal Hut before & after the ceremony.
Time and Space to Write or Update Your Vows
Receive pre-stay guidance and conversation with Dinah, a Certified Celebrant, to help shape your vows and ceremony. We can also include a ritual (if desired), such as handfasting, tree planting, or candle lighting.
Romantic Extras Included, as Standard
As a part of your vow renewal & stay with us, you can receive an optional keepsake script to take home as a reminder of the day, and we’ll include a bottle of something special, waiting for you back at the hut.

Meet Your Celebrant
our ceremony will be led by Dinah, co-owner of The Charcoal Hut and a certified Independent Celebrant, trained and a member of the Association of Independent Celebrants.
Dinah’s gift lies in holding space – in listening without judgment, celebrating without agenda, and helping each couple create something that’s entirely their own. Her warmth, sensitivity, and deeply personal approach make her ceremonies feel like coming home to your love story.
Dinah has spent nearly 30 years coaching and guiding others through meaningful life transitions. Her vow renewal ceremonies are rooted in her own lived experience of love – celebrating 35 years of marriage with her husband John – and in her belief that all relationships, however they look, deserve to be witnessed, affirmed, and celebrated.

The Charcoal Hut
Just 20 minutes from the Brecon Beacons and 10 minutes from Llandovery, we’re well placed for adventure – but many of our guests never leave the land once they arrive. You don’t need to.
Stays are just £80 per night and include your tea, your coffee, and a big helping of forest peace.
